I've been asked to finish a few sweaters. Seam and put in a zipper. I have NO idea what to charge for it. Anybody out there do it? Want to share prices and thoughts as to why?

Wed, October 3, 2007 - 4:12 AM$50/garment. That's what I was charged when I was too lazy to do it myself. (Which was more incentive to learn and do it myself)

Wed, October 3, 2007 - 5:37 AMKaren's experience with being charged $50 is probably the best way for you to determine a price. Call around and ask a few places what they would charge. My local yarn shoppe does this type of work. Tell them you have one you need finished yourself.
