Knitting wrap and turn

Hey guys,

I'm working on the brim of a hat from knitty.com and I can't wrap my head around W&T. I seem to get it, but what's confusing me is if it's a short row for the brim, what happens to the stitches AFTER the wrap because the instructions tell you to turn and work the row. In other words will I always have stitches on the left needle not to be worked on and what do I do with those eventually. This seems simple, but there's something I'm missing. Please help aggggggghhhhhhhh!

I know you probably have these instructions, but just incase...these were the W&T instructions from when I made a stuffed penguin (also on knitty.com):

    w&t (wrap and turn)
On a knit row: slip the next stitch purlwise, bring the yarn to the front of the work, and replace the slipped stitch back onto the left needle without twisting it. Turn the work around to begin working back in the other direction.

You just do exactly what it says, really. I've only done the one project with this trick in it, but it's for shaping (in mine it was used for making the curve of the penguin's head). Hard to know without seeing your pattern, but I imagine you'll end up knitting them all again. I know I did.

Don't know how helpful that is....my brain isn't quite awake yet. :)
